My Background
As long as I can remember I've loved the way things sound. My ears started dialing in right away. I spent a lot of time by myself in nature growing up quietly listening. There were times I lived amongst industrial sounds in wide open spaces and times I lived in the forest in dead silence on a calm day.
Of course music was a natural for me and fate sort of landed on me with the trombone. I've had some of the most amazing experiences on my journey with this instrument which landed me in graduate school where I became a classical trombonist, and then went on to guest performances with the P-Funk Allstars.
All of that experience served me well as a record producer and songwriter. I have some very fine engineering chops, and I'm always creative while retaining my own voice as an engineer.
Some of my favorite work is in sound design, composition, sweetening, broadcast mixing, and other commercial work.
